Specialising in luxury accommodation for large groups, Lawson Lodge Country Estate is the perfect venue for your next holiday or special event with friends, family or colleagues.
Whether you are celebrating a birthday, planning a golfing weekend, organising a family reunion, or just looking to escape to the beautiful Macedon Ranges, Lawson Lodge has all the facilities you will need for the perfect group getaway. We offer a range of accommodation options, including the 9-bedroom Lodge, managers cottage and cabins, catering to groups of 20-50 guests. Smaller groups can book just the Lodge for up to 20 guests, and larger groups can add on as many of the additional rooms as required. Regardless of how many rooms you book, you'll still enjoy exclusive use of our facilities and private access to the 65-acre retreat.
Our Lodge
Our lodge must be booked to reserve our property on your preferred dates.
All lodge rates include exclusive property hire and use of all leisure facilities and activities during your stay.
The stunning 9-bedroom Canadian Mountain Lodge is beautifully appointed, with two spacious living areas, 4 bathrooms, and a fully self-contained kitchen. With central heating, air conditioning and a gas log fire to keep you comfortable all year round.
The stunning master king bedroom with views across the garden includes an ensuite bathroom and private balcony. Children will love the attic bedroom featuring 4 single beds and their own bathroom. Surrounded by cottage gardens and views from every window. Sleeping up to 20 guests.
3-night minimum stay from October to April.
2-night minimum stay from May to September.
All other accommodation options can be added to your reservation as required.

With the commitment of accepting only one reservation at a time, we assure every group exclusive access to the property and all facilities, ensuring a seamless blend of privacy, outdoor adventures & our unmatched attention to detail. Our facilities include an impeccably kept 9-hole golf course, heated 10-person swim spa, tennis & basketball court, pool & table tennis tables, 32 seat cinema, lawn games & carpet bowls, gazebo & alfresco outdoor dining, two brand new BBQ’s, two full size domestic kitchens and endless walking trails through the 65 acres of this glorious Australian bush setting.
Additional Accommodation
After your lodge booking is confirmed, you can add on as many of our additional accommodation spaces as you require. Any you don’t require are locked up, and not available to other bookings or groups.

The Executive Suites
The two Executive Suites are located in the clubhouse building and boast amazing views over the lake, with direct access to the golf course. Featuring king beds, private ensuite facilities, heating and air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities and TV with Netflix.
Sleeping up to 2 guests each.
The Cabins
The three little sleep pods are a cosy accommodation option, nestled into the bushland on the edge of the golf course. Featuring queen beds, heating and air conditioning, veranda with seating to relax and enjoy the views and nearby access to the bathrooms and kitchenette in the Gazebo. Sleeping up to 2 guests each.
The Fishing Hut
The Fishing Hut by the lake is a stunning, rustic outdoor experience. Wake up to the most beautiful views across the water, in absolute privacy. The Fishing Hut includes a queen bed, wood fire and electric heating and cooling, fridge, BBQ, fire pit, fishing rods, tea and coffee facilities, outdoor seating, a heated outdoor shower and an iconic outdoor Aussie toilet. Sleeping up to 2 guests.
The Manager's Cottage
The managers cottage is a gorgeous, completely off-grid, 3 bedroom cottage. Featuring 2 queen and 1 single bedroom, a large lounge and dining room with wood fire, kitchen, bathroom and fire pit. Enjoy panoramic views over Mt Macedon from the large veranda with swing chair. Access along 800m internal property road. Sleeping up to 5 guests.
Glamping Tents
Our seven Moroccan style glamping tents provide an amazing outdoor experience for your guests. Tents include queen beds, soft furnishings and rugs, tables and chairs, fans and lights, hot water bottles and mirrors. Glampers will enjoy the newly appointed gazebo with 2 bathrooms, kitchenette, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, BBQ, fire pit and heated spa. Available Oct-April. Sleeping up to 2 guests each.

On site massages & facials
Enjoy an indulgent, re-invigorating tailored treatment without leaving the property! We have partnered with well sought after local therapists. Their massages can be tailored to your liking, including therapeutic, deep tissue and relaxation. Facials include cleansing, toning, exfoliation, moisturizing, & face massage, with the hour including a deep cleansing face mask & a scalp massage.
Cinema Popcorn & Candy Bar
If your group is planning on enjoying a fun night in our 32 seat cinema, why not upgrade to include our decadent candy bar? Enjoy all the old fashioned cinema favourites, without the hassle of having to collect it all yourselves. There will be than enough treats to spoil your entire group and whatever you don’t finish, you can take home with you.
Golf extras, lessons & cart hire
Take your game to the next level, our local expert Golf Pro will teach you everything he knows on our beautiful 9 hole golf course. From beginners to advanced players, classes go for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours & can be private or group. Plus, if you need to move around the course quickly, you’re welcome to hire our easy to drive electric golf cart, seats 4 and can carry your golf buggy on the back.
Wine or Gin Tasting at Lawson Lodge
Let the local winery or Gin distillery come to you! Some of our amazing local wineries have agreed to come to Lawson Lodge to give you and give your guests a unique wine tasting experience, in the comfort of our stunning property. They bring approximately 6 varieties of exceptional local wines for you to try (and they leave the bottles for you!) plus all the expertise from the winemaker themselves. It takes about an hour & a half, and is perfect for a group of 10 or more. Or, if Gin is more your thing, add a local gin cart for your stay. The gin cart includes a selection of 3 local gins, a range of tonic waters and garnishes to enjoy over dinner and into the evening.
Private chef dinner or hosting your celebration
Our renowned local private chefs will provide an intimate in house dining experience, 3 courses of delicious local produce and artisan menus for you and your guests to enjoy. Our staff will set the alfresco dining space or clubhouse dining room to your liking, then serve & spoil your group – plus they leave the space spotless, so you won’t have to lift a finger. Or, if you have a large group and are inviting off site guests for an evening of celebrating, you can arrange a 5 or 6 hour function package with us. We’ll look after all the party planning, we’ll serve your drinks and clean up at the end of the night too.
Paint & sip classes
Indulge your creative side with our paint & sip classes, all painting equipment supplied, included wine and classes with a professional art teacher that go for approximately 2 – 4 hours. Such a unique and fabulous way to spend your downtime at Lawson Lodge country estate.
